NSU Center for Statewide E-learning 2026-27 High School Registraon Informaon All registraons should be made on the South Dakota Center for Virtual Educaon site: h©ps://sdcve.k12.sd.us Priority registraon opens at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday April 7, 2026, and runs to 5 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2026. All registraons during this period will be accepted into courses or put on waing lists based on district DOE sparsity rankings. ALer 5 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2026, all registraons will be accepted into courses or put on waing lists on a first-come first-served basis unl courses are full. To register students: • Students must be at least 13 years of age by the start of class. • Select the courses you want from the included list. Note: each course SYN number is listed. • Go to the SDCVE site, search for the appropriate SYN number, and register students. • Times listed are Central me. Courses are one year unless otherwise noted. Low-enrolled classes may be cancelled. Classes begin August 19, 2026, and end May 14, 2027. All courses are tuion-free to school districts. Districts may be asked to provide textbooks per local policies. Districts will be asked to provide a local facilitator. Methods of Delivery 1. Daily: Courses feature connecons with the teacher and possibly other schools • Meeng Monday through Thursday at mes determined by registered schools • Meeng twice a week (M/W or T/Th) at mes determined by registered schools • Meeng Monday through Friday at listed mes. 2. Online: Courses feature recorded class sessions and online materials; students interact with the course asynchronously. All courses follow a tradional school calendar.
