Scholarship Form Delta Kappa Gamma Purposes The purpose of the Delta Kappa Gamma Scholarship is to support and encourage standards of excellence in education and to assist and cooperate with schools, colleges, and universities to support improvement of education. Scholarship Purposes To advance the professional interest and position of women in education. To endow scholarships to aid outstanding women in pursuing education degrees. Applicants considered for funding Female Education majors that are: • accepted into an education program at Northern State University. • Juniors and/or Seniors. Scholarship money will be awarded for one (1) school year, August-May. The maximum individual award is $1000.00. Your application must have the following information. A copy of a current college transcript _______ Name Summer Email Address/phone # _________________________________________ Year of High School Graduation______ Hometown _____ Anticipated year of graduation ________ Write a narrative explaining your goals for a degree in education and how this scholarship will help you achieve them. Preference will be given for: • Financial need • Those working with children in some capacity • Involvement or service in the field of education • Overall development of the paper Application is DUE by May 1, 2026.
