58 “Like hell, girly,” Andy responds as Blake chuckles at her question. “And why the heck not? After all you’re in my classroom, I’m the one that’s going to be covering for you after, so it’s only fair I get first shot.” Megan points out as she slowly steps towards Andy. “Come on, Andy. We’re wasting time, just give her the gun. You can have the rest.” “And I said like hell. This is my gig.” Andy states as he pulls his gun forward to point at Megan while Blake whips the other out of his pocket. “Easy man.” “Where’d you get that? It looks just like—“Andy pauses as he reaches back and finds his other gun to be gone. Megan smirks at him in response while Blake simply shrugs. The rest of the classroom looks on in confusion and fear as the three of them continue to talk as if they aren’t actually there deciding their fate. “You should be more careful who you kiss, sweetheart. Women can be quite devious.” “Why you little b—” “Yeah, yeah, I know. I’ve heard worse, right brother?” Megan quickly retorts while leaning back against a lab table. “Meh, can’t disagree can I?” Her brother answers her while keeping his gun trained on Andy. Meh? Really Blake? Really? “You are such a help. But come on, we’re wasting time. Hand over the gun for a moment, then I’ll give it back.” “Or I shoot you first and then move on to the rest.” “You do that, and my brother’s gonna give you another hole to breathe out of. He’s the only one allowed to shoot me.” Megan responds nonchalantly, and waits for Andy to make his decision as everyone watches. “Fine. One shot is all you get. And only because I need to get started.” Andy decides as he slowly hands his gun to Megan. “You know how it works, right?” How stupid does he think I am? Seriously? “Of course. Blake taught me everything I need to know.” Megan sends a quick smirk to her brother that he returns as she flips the safety on the gun and whips around to slam it into Andy’s head, forcing him to drop to his knees clutching his wound. “What the hell! You B—“ “Oh shut up. I thought you’d never hand it over.” Megan cuts him off as he yells in pain, backing closer to her brother and putting the gun on the lab table behind her. “Stay on your knees and put your hands on your head Andy.” Blake states calmly as he steps forward to stand near his sister. “What’s going on? What the hell you two?” “Told you women could be devious. But you also should have been more careful in picking your friends.” Megan answers him and turns to look at the bewildered faces of her classmates. “Don’t worry everyone. It’s all over, and we’ll have the cops here soon. But in the meantime, meet my older brother, Angel County Jailer Blake Singer.” She states proudly as Andy looks up at both of them in shock. “A cop!” “Not quite, but close enough. How’d you find him anyway?” Blake takes on a sheepish look as he answers her. “I may have picked up a hitchhiker…” “Seriously?” “Yeah, convinced him I could help him if he didn’t shoot me.” “And bringing him here, to me?” Megan questioned as Blake pulled out a pair of handcuffs to put Andy in. Sirens blare in the distance letting everyone know it’s over. “Well…I figured you’d remember how good we were at improv.”
