4 was a dark wraith called Grendel, who lived in the stronghold of the mountains; from the line of Cain came he and his brethren, the monsters abhorred by God. The eternal Lord punished him in the name of Cain’s crime. The Lord felt no joy in that feud against the giants, goblins, and ghoul-like monsters; these creatures rose with wretchedness on their hearts; they fought against God throughout the ages, and He repaid them their just reward.
