23 AVERA STUDENT HEALTH : Health care professionals with Avera St. Luke’s are focused on helping students with a range of medical needs to promote health and wellness. A certified physician’s assistant or nurse practitioner is available Monday-Friday during the academic year to assure excellent care. Services include sports physicals, annual physicals, sick visits for fevers, coughs, colds, sore throats, and earaches. Clinical laboratory services are available on-site. Students whose health care needs are beyond the clinics’ scope of practice will be supported with referrals. Table 25 Student Usage by Month and Year Year Aug. Sept. Oct. Nov. Dec. Jan. Feb. Mar.
