STUDENT AFFAIRS 17 ANNUAL REPORT Objective 2: Increase Revenue. Everyone at Northern is responsible for knowing our business model and participating in the process of increasing revenue. Managing net revenues ensures the financial viability of Northern and sustains our mission of advancing the student success agenda. Key Results: Key Result Description Status 14 Increase occupancy within the In Progress residence halls by 20% by fall 2025. 14 A. Establish an Emerging Leadership Nearing program for rising juniors and seniors Completion utilizing residential scholarships (Aligns with Objective 4: Increase Student Engagement Opportunities). 14 B. Establish an annual furniture Accomplished erplacement program to improve housing furniture, the student experience, and save money over time. 14 E. End winter break contract breaks Accomplished beginning with the 2021-2022 contract year. 20 Require all students two years post Accomplished high school graduation to purchase – at a minimum - the Commuter Gold Plan. Objective 3: Increase Student Wellness. Wellness is the prerequisite for student success – it is hard to be an engaged leader if students are not well or do not have access to wellness programs. We believe in holistic wellness and prevention programs as cost efficient interventions that prevent illness and harm before it can ever occur. Key Results: Key Result Description Status 27 Create and publish a “Scope of Accomplished Practice” that will provide broader understanding of the mission and operations of the Counseling Center. 28 Retitle the Counseling Center Program Accomplished Manager to Prevention Services Coordinator. 29 Introduce and brand Prevention Nearing Services across campus. Completion 35 Prevention Services will create once Accomplished a semester prescription give-back program with Aberdeen Police. 38 Create a University Interfaith Council Postponed to facilitate student’s wellness in the area of spirituality.
