Formal Reporting of Victimization It is important to show that the majority of survey participants did not tell anyone about the incident before this questionnaire (73%). Of the 27% who did tell someone, the majority told a close friend other than a roommate (22%) or a roommate (17%). Only 8% of participants told someone at the institution: Residence Life staff, Office of Student Conduct, or faculty or staff that have a duty to report to the Title IX Coordinator.
