Students learned how municipalities like Aberdeen make drinking water safe by removing harmful microorganisms and using beneficial microorganisms in the process. Students got a tour of the facilities from Superintendent Bob Braun. CREATIVE WRITING MINOR BEGINNING IN FALL 2019, the Department of Languages, Literature, and Communication Studies will offer a minor in creative writing. This minor caters to English majors and non-majors by promoting invention and original product creation, developing adaptable critical and creative writing skills, and honing observational and interpretive skills. Additionally, English education majors pursuing this minor would be better prepared to teach creative writing in their own classrooms. TOURING THE TREATMENT PLANT NORTHERN HOSTS GPSA CONFERENCE
