40 As one side of the world sleeps, The other side is just waking up. Dreams of running and flying For some, But for others, the night terrors of drowning and suffocating consume them. Eventually, everyone wakes up to the Sun outside. Rays and beams of light shining upon one hemisphere. It is time to live another day. The first thing we notice is the beaming rays, Blasting through the curtains and painting our faces. It is time to wake up. In the spring, the Sun glistens upon the dew drops That blanket the grass. The cold chill that stays in the shadows slowly retracts. Here comes the Sun. Daily lives begin. The mailman starts his morning route. Sprinklers kick on. The working class takes off after a cup of joe. Parents begin another day preceded by a sleepless night. Coffee is the elixir to help fight the blinding rays of Sun. The meteorologist begins his daily forecast. School buses and distant bells chime as the kids begin their day. It is time to learn. Birds chirping, dogs barking, in the distance, someone starting their lawn mower. As the Sun rises, so do the sounds of the world around us. As the hours go on, The Sun slowly makes its way down the skyline. Darkness has arrived. No more light left, but the sudden gleaming of the moon behind the clouds. Now, we sleep. Dreams consume us. Hours go by, an alarm goes off. Sunbeams peak through the curtains. The chill of the shadows vanishes. Here comes the Sun. here comes the sun Sierra Reed
