NORTHERN TODAY 17 FALL 2017 ALUMNI NEWS Queen passionate about traveling the world “I’M SUPER PASSIONATE about traveling the world and getting to experience new cultures as much as I can. That’s why my favorite experience at Northern and honestly the greatest experience of my life, so far, was getting the chance to study abroad in South Korea two summers ago! I got to go to class daily on the beach and even got to take a yacht sailing class with one of my fellow Northern classmates. I learned so much about a culture that I likely would have never gotten the chance to learn about otherwise. Everything about Northern has truly been a blessing to me. Whether it be the amazing friends I’ve made or the top-notch professors I’ve had, such as Dr. Fouberg, I’ve been able to surround myself with the most influential people I have ever met other than my own family members. I even met my fiancé here! Northern has given me so many opportunities that I never expected to have the honor to experience. Freshman me could’ve never imagined being Gypsy Royalty by my senior year!
