Two new residence halls Construction is underway on NSU’s two new residence halls – walls started going up this fall, with both buildings set to open by fall 2018. These two halls, as well as Wolves Memorial Suites will offer a total of almost 450 new beds on campus. That means by fall 2018, it’s anticipated that more than half of NSU’s residence hall occupants will live in new facilities. One new hall, located south of the Mewaldt- Jensen Building, will provide a “pod” style design, with eight to 10 traditional double rooms situated around a common living space and community bathroom.
