STUDENT AFFAIRS ANNUAL REPORT (2025-2026) 28 THUNDER BUCKS PROGRAM EXPANDED March 2026 - In fulfillment of Key Result 34 of the Student Affairs Strategic Plan (2021–2025), Student Affairs partnered with Dining Services, Purchasing, and Technology Services to significantly expand the Thunder Bucks Program. These collaborative efforts broadened the number of campus locations accepting Thunder Bucks to include vending machines, athletic concessions, and Just Baked in Great Plains East—making the program more convenient and accessible than ever. Thunder Bucks allow students, faculty, and staff to deposit funds onto their Pack Pass Mobile ID easily and with no hidden fees. The program eliminates the need to carry credit cards or cash on campus and also provides a secure, simple way for parents and supporters to add funds to ensure their students can meet essential needs. Reloading is fast and seamless, with funds becoming instantly available when deposited online. Balances also roll over from semester to semester, giving users greater flexibility and control over their spending. With the recent expansion, Thunder Bucks can now be used at the following locations across campus: • Load money on your Speed Queen app for laundry in the residence halls • Snack, pop, beverage, and vending machines across campus • Einstein Bros. Bagels® in the Student Center • The Wolves Den in the Student Center • The Grid Market and Just Baked in Great Plains East • Printing stations in Williams Library and Great Plains East • Concessions in Athletics facilities These improvements strengthen the overall student experience by increasing convenience, enhancing service integration, and supporting a seamless campus environment. The expanded Thunder Bucks Program reflects Student Affairs and Technology Services’ continued commitment to innovation and to advancing the strategic goals outlined in the original 2021–2025 plan.
