This requirement includes maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 and completing and passing at least 67% of all credits attempted. All college credit that a student attempts, including Rising Scholar courses, becomes part of your academic record and is measured against this standard. Rising Scholar classes can help, or hurt, future financial aid eligibility depending on student performance. In addition, the total number of credits completed determines grade level. Grade level is important for both federal loan amounts as well as some scholarships. A student could receive more or less aid
