8 NSU Placement Table for Math and English Courses Fall 2023 Students in English and Math RS courses must meet the same minimum placement scores for ACT, Accuplacer or Smarter Balanced scores in these subjects as used on-campus (as per the SD Board of Regents). 1. Accuplacer tests will be administered by the RS program director, high school counselor or NSU Testing Center and the NSU Admissions personnel will assist in the registration process. 2. Students are allowed one challenge to the original placement decision. Students can take the Accuplacer no more than twice per semester to achieve a qualifying placement score. Students will pay a fee for any challenge testing. MATH PLACEMENT For initial placement.
