He has meant more to fine arts, NSU, and the Aberdeen community/ region than I am able to adequately describe.” Larry is appreciated equally for his e x t r a o r d i n a r y service to the School of Fine Arts and the Aberdeen community. His larger than life presence will be sorely missed by students, staff and faculty alike. “Larry is one of the most dedicated and devoted employees and supporters of NSU that I have ever known. We will miss him greatly and wish him much success and happiness in his retirement,” added LaFave. “I hope we will still see him and Margaret at our events and look forward to perhaps seeing his contributions continue with the Northern Fort Summer Playhouse in the summer and as an online professor of theater appreciation.” northern today 7 “He has humbly pursued excellence in his position and is the ‘behind the scenes’ key to success…” Behind the scenes… News northern “Literally, EVERY event that takes place in the Johnson Fine Arts Center including concerts, recitals, plays, guest speakers, commencements, dance recitals, community events and guest performances has Larry’s touch…” Dr. Alan LaFave, Dean of the School of Fine Arts As the curtain closed at the end of the 2010-11 theater season, and another successful year of plays, concerts, and community events is in the history books, the Northern State community prepares to say goodbye to one of their own. “Larry is one of the most dedicated and devoted employees and supporters of NSU that I have ever known.” Dr. Alan LaFave
